THO-KU & RAGI - SUNRISE
Time for Oliver Klein to bring up a new masterpiece on his re-born Mutekki imprint. After the first two well-received releases by Erphun and Rio Padice, featuring amazing remix treatments by Oliver Klein & Peter Jürgens and Boris Werner, it's now time for Tho-Ku & Ragi to show up with some serious dancefloor madness.
The heads behind this project are versatile German producer wizard Thomas Kutger teaming up with his mate Ragi on the piano. The result is "Sunrise", a bass-heavy and chord-driven Techno monster with uplifting latin vibes - something Oliver Klein has instantly signed, even before their demo played to the end. For those who are entertained enough by the voluminous chords and massive beat and like to keep the ball low instead of causing carnival moments on the dancefloor, there's also a Dub Mix available.
Dutch duo-of-the-moment District One aka Bart Skils & Anton Pieete again show, why their work is so in-demand with DJs and labels worldwide - as it sets dancefloors on fire with sudden effect. The boys hailing from the land of the flowers, frikandels and coffee-shops pick up the driving percussions and piano and turn it into a pumping, off-key oldschool rocker, that becomes more and more hypnotic and infectious, the longer it goes. That's the Disctrict One trademark sound, simple but soooo effective!

the original mix of sunrise is quite a nice tech-house track! maybe these kind of piano hooks have been used before, i enjoy it though. district one & piete remix is a groovy stomper! love it!ike gran bazar and the werner remix, good techno tools. will play...
