And the third release of this highflier on the label Mutekki from Duesseldorf shows that this is for a reason. While the 25-year-old already got support from DJs like Carl Cox, Saeed & Palash, Oliver Klein, DJ Lucca or Tall Paul with his singles Bunch / Fanclub and Peaks n Punches / Flatliner, and remixes for the likes of Martin H, the young talent puts another spectacular double a-side on his young Mutekki release list. Gennaro shows that he continuously improves his producing skills with every further release and that he has a distinct fun on sound-puzzling. Art of Thrill is a minimal but trancy tech-house mover, which smartly plays with the crowd and strings it along only to let the bomb burst with the last break. Phono Punk easily catapults the audience into the 7 th heaven of crossover records. The energetic 4-to-the-floor-bumper ecstasizes with a driving and cracking bass line along a psychotic, brain screwing electro synth, which straightway leads the dancer to the higher regions of anthem-like club music.
