After Oliver Klein’s successful Double-EP „Rien Ne Va Plus“, his cooperation with Hardfloor-member Ramon Zenker, and the double A-single „Art of Thrill / Phono Punk“ by our fosterling Gennaro Rossi, Mutekki once again extends its family with another promising act. LK-PRO is not just another new welcome on Mutekki, but the new side-project of shootingstar Tobias Lützenkirchen, who recently managed a touchdown with his hit “Daily Disco” on Great Stuff. With just one release, he managed to create himself a fanbase which doesn’t even stop at big names such as DJ Hell, Mr. C, Dahlbäck, Thomas Schumacher, 2raumwohnung, Play Paul, The Hacker, David Duriez, Ewan Pearson, Karotte, Peter Kruder, Toni Rios, Mousse T., Sharam Jey, Satoshi Tomiie, Moonbootica, John Aquaviva, Phonique or Kiki, to name just a few. Originally coming from sound-engineering, “Luetze” quickly made clear, why the german club-scene’s hopes among others are pinned on him. Testifying examples for this are remix works for acts like Joe T. Vanelli or his current cooperation with John Aquaviva “Zombie”, which made it to #2 on the monthly charts of Beatport, the largest download-portal for electronic music.
On Mutekki, under his LK-PRO disguise, he indulges in his love for minimal techno to a maximum, and that even three times. “Clicker Flick” builds up the shuffelbeat-, bleeps- and oldschool bassline-dominated track, which shows, that it’s not always a hands-in-the-air-break you need to fascinate the crowd. A good portion Funk sometimes can do even better.
“Romper Stomper” is committed into acid-house with a slight leaning towards progressive und finally is superseded by the hypnotic “Indian Summer”.
