With Tobias Lützenkirchen´s pure club outfit LK-Pro, Mutekki once again proved the right touch with the choice of its family members. End of last year “Luetze” already incubated a real floorfiller with his “Romper Stomper EP” on Mutekki. The record could be found in the cases of Laurent Garnier, Martin Eyerer, Slam, Björn Wilkie, Mijk van Dijk and Cristian Varela.The versatile sound nerd is also more requested than ever as a production partner. Besides regular sessions with John Aquaviva, electro veteran and chart act Tomcraft designates Tobias Lützenkirchen his constant production partner. Their current project is a remix for the Bloodhound Gang on Universal. Tomcraft even plans to realise all his next productions with him. With Lützenkirchen´s last two singles “Daily Disco” and “Counterfunk / Lazy Dog Bytes The Dirt” on the prestigious german label Great Stuff, the support from every DJ of distinction was assured. Amongst others DJ T, DJ Hell, John Aquaviva, Damian Lazarus, Mr. C, Ewan Pearson, Toni Rios, Moonbootica or Karotte took their hat off to him. Now he returns boomerang-like to his Mutekki base and presents a condign successor: The “Makavelli EP”. With “Makavelli”, an electro-influenced techno track with a funky bassline, and “Nocturne”, a deep and dark tech house track, the a-side contains two peaktime floorburners. In contrast the relaxed deephouse-title “The Deep Blue” on the b-side should hit the spot at the beginning of the evening. LK-Pro’s passion for clubby and funky techno is perfectly shown once again with this release.
