This samples collection of the much liked "Vengeance" series by Mutekki-Media meets the additional need of every active producer especially for minimal sound structures. Beside creaky and sub-tone basses you will find here Arcade cult sounds and crooked synths to complete your current repertoire. The CD fully covers the entire sound spectrum from Elektro-House via Minimal to Deephouse, even downbeat electro ambient tracks can be produced individually and distinctively with the presented variety of sounds. "Dirt" and "filthy snaps" at all the right positions round of the typical minimal electro sound for state-of-the-art productions. All loops have been programmed without bassdrum for free usage.The commercial use is not subject to a licence, which is what makes the CD interesting both for hobby as well as for professional producers. Here at CM, we're all too familiar with "minimal house" - don't ever let anyone tell you that music technology journalism is any sort of path to riches. Happily, this library of 24-bit WAV files snapped us out of our poverty-induced stupor. Fittingly, Minimal House isn't exactly overflowing with content. Percussion is well represented, with loads of kicks, snares and claps, but the synth and FX sections are a little slight compared to those in the previous Vengeance release, Essential Club Sounds Vol 2. That collection is a touch more value-packed and versatile, and a slightly better proposition in our book. 8/10
